Hong Kong

Office Manager & Executive Assistant

From a trusted UK partner to first call in Hong Kong

Testimonial:

We’ve worked with Eden Recruitment for our UK hiring for some time and have always been impressed by their communication, understanding of our business and the quality of candidates they recommend.

They really understand our requirements, and I trust their judgement when it comes to finding the right people.

So, when we recently needed recruitment support for a new role in Hong Kong, Eden was my first call. It was an easy decision to work with a recruitment partner we already know and trust, particularly as our hiring needs expand internationally.

The Client

A leading global financial services firm, and a client we already support on all of their UK-based hiring.

When a new role opened in their Hong Kong office, they asked us to recruit for it exclusively.

The successful candidate would join a close-knit team of seven in a broad and varied position: taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the office while acting as a trusted Executive Assistant to the Managing Director and the wider investment team. The role is pivotal to keeping the office running efficiently, supporting senior stakeholders and creating a professional environment that lets the team perform at its best.

The Challenge:

In a team of seven, there is nowhere to hide. This hire needed to be two people in one: an Office Manager who could own the operational detail, and an EA polished enough to support a Managing Director and an investment team. They also had to fit a team small enough that every personality counts.

Our Approach:

Because we already understood the business, its standards and the kind of people who succeed there, we could move quickly. Within a week of receiving the role, we provided a large selection of appropriate candidates, and interviews began shortly after.

The Outcome:

On 24 August 2026, the successful candidate was offered the role and accepted. They started on 14 September 2026, three weeks later.
