Dubai

Executive Assistant to Founder

A trusted right hand for a Founder working across three countries

Testimonial:

We worked with Eden Recruitment to find an Executive Assistant for our Founder in Dubai and were really impressed with their consultative approach throughout the process.

Their advice and understanding of what we needed helped shape the search, and ultimately they found us a candidate who exceeded our expectations.

As a Tanzania-based business hiring internationally, having a recruitment partner we could trust made the process incredibly straightforward. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with Eden again for future international hires.

The Client:

Our client delivers large-scale infrastructure projects across Tanzania. Following the expansion of their offices in London and Dubai, two markets we know well, they got in touch through our website on 7 May 2026.

The Brief:

They needed a high-calibre Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to support their Founder, who operates between Dubai, London and Tanzania.

The Founder and Managing Director leads a highly successful international business with operations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the UK. Entrepreneurial and fast-paced, they oversee multiple projects, international stakeholders and global operations. The role called for a trusted right hand: someone to provide seamless support across business and personal administration while helping to manage priorities, logistics and day-to-day operations.

The Challenge:

An EA in this seat is never managing one diary in one time zone. They are keeping a Founder on track across three countries and three continents, juggling business and personal commitments, and acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders around the world. It is a pivotal role, and the wrong hire would be felt immediately.

Our Approach:

Eight days after the first enquiry, on 15 May 2026, we held a full briefing with the client to understand the role in depth and discuss terms of business. That conversation shaped the search that followed, and it is where the client says our advice made the difference.

In June 2026, interviews began across an array of suitable candidates, and an offer was made to the successful candidate.

The Outcome:

The candidate started on 3 August 2026, less than three months after the client first reached out.

The client gave us great feedback, describing Eden as a lovely firm to work for, with good communication and feedback. They would use us again to support their international EA hiring needs.
